Air New Zealand might be experiencing ‘turbulent’ times but a new bright ‘Spark’ will raise hopes of smooth sailing ahead, the airline’s CEO, Greg Foran, believes.
“Joe [McCollum] is no stranger to the type of large scale, rapid workplace change that Air New Zealand has ahead in the wake of Covid-19,” he says. “He will be a key member of the team to rebuild our airline.”
From April 14, Joe McCollum (former group human resources director at Spark) will replace Jodie King as the airline’s Chief People Officer; Ms King will ring in a new chapter in her career as Chief People Officer at Vodafone New Zealand.
