Hi-Tech Addition to Lambton Quay

Lambton Quay is soon to be at the centre of technological innovation as global ICT company Dimension Data announce the location of its new premises.

Dimension Data will be moving its Wellington office to 157 Lambton Quay in March 2017. This new location, centrally positioned at Midland Park, will be introduced as Dimension Data Tower.

As owner and manager of what will become Dimension Data Tower, Precinct Properties is proud to introduce such a progressive business to our portfolio says Precinct Properties General Manager Property Kym Bunting.

“We were delighted to be able to work with Dimension Data to find a new home which meets their changing focus and business needs,” says Bunting.

“Lambton Quay has long been one of Wellington’s premier business and retail addresses and the relocation of Dimension Data reinforces this.”

Dimension Data is excited to be in the centre of the activity happening in Wellington, says Dimension Data New Zealand CEO Jo Healey.

“We are taking this opportunity to look at ways we can push the boundaries with our property in terms of technology and new ways of working,” says Healey.

The digital landscape, and what our clients’ demand from technology, is undergoing a radical transformation, she says.

“In order for us to meet the current and future requirements of our customers we have had to evolve too. We are a very different business today to what we were 16 years ago when we moved into our current location. Disruption is the word that we and our clients use. We are committed to disrupt and innovate for our clients and ourselves.”

This move is a wonderful opportunity for Dimension Data to realise a dynamic and agile working environment – to offer its staff and clients a ‘Workspace for Tomorrow’.

“Our new premises will allow us to work differently, to give our people greater choice and flexibility, and to be able to respond more effectively to our clients’ needs. We will include areas which encourage collaboration, areas for concentration and allow our team to work more dynamically from any location. Technology is a key enabler for change and we are excited to explore the possibilities,” Healey says.
“This is an incredible next step in our journey and we are excited to prepare for this move in March 2017.”
