Swarovski Celebrates ‘Women Of Impact’ In Discussion With Glenn Close During Zurich Film Festival

Zurich, October 2, 2017 – Swarovski made its debut with the ‘Women of Impact’ discussion featuring Hollywood star Glenn Close, alongside exclusive lunch and cocktail events for guests from the worlds of cinema and business. The discussion was held as part of the 13th Zurich Film Festival (ZFF), which opened its doors on September 29.

Hollywood star Glenn Close joined Annie Starke, Astrid von Stockar, and Member of the Swarovski Executive Board Nadja Swarovski for the ‘Women of Impact’ discussion, organized by the Müller-Möhl Foundation and Spoundation Motion Picture.

The conversation focused on the role of women in business and society, and women’s opportunities to create positive impact. Joined by her daughter, actor Annie Starke, Hollywood actor Glenn Close talked about her career and her new film The Wife, in which the protagonist liberates herself from her husband.

Swarovski organized an exclusive lunch as a prelude to ‘Women of Impact’ with local and international VIPs from the film industry and the corporate world coming together in the luxurious surroundings of the five-star Baur au Lac hotel.

Swarovski’s involvement ended with a glamorous cocktail reception at the Frauenbadi on Zurich’s Stadthausquai. On October 2, Swarovski brought together customers and guests from the media industry, in the floating bar on the Limmat.
