It seems that the family that grows together will (eventually) grow together, if Babich Wines’ latest appointment is anything to go by!
After 18 years in investment banking, André Babich has joined his father, uncle and cousin as part of a third generation of the family to run the business.
“I always expected I would join the business in time,” he says. “It’s a responsibility and a luxury to do so now, continuing the family tradition.”
Grandson of company founder, Josip Babich, André will, over time, be engaged with many aspects across the company, adds executive director, Joe Babich.
“It’s a fascinating time for our industry and business. We’re thrilled to have André’s expertise and day-to-day involvement as we continue to expand.”
